    libertango sheet music

    what is it: sheet music arranged for a string quartet
    my role: music arrangement, musician
    tools: musescore

    During college, I was in a string quartet for a few years. We played a bunch of gigs, such as random house concerts, the oregon state senate, osu president dinners, various weddings, and other places i can’t remember right now.

    For one concert, we had to perform libertango, but we couldn’t find a good (free) one for a string quartet. I decided to take a shot at musical arrangement because I wanted a fun cello part. This is the result.

    After making this, I realized that musical arrangement is very difficult. This is my first and last arrangement. 

    As of Jan.19 2024, it has a total of ~100k views (including the individual parts). I have separated the score into individual parts for easy print and read access on musescore. It should be all free.
